Dear Mrs Artmann


My name is Giovanna Pineda and I am interested in an opportunity to volunteer with the “Growth Art Center”. I am a teacher of elementary school and I love working with children, but now I would like to do it as a volunteer in your foundation.
I have worked as a teacher during eight years in regular schools, but also worked as a volunteer on weekends with the “Helena and Juan Foundation” as a children's entertainer.
I have experience in classrooms teaching different areas such as Mathematics, English, Science, and Spanish; but also as a children's entertainer doing face painting, crafts, playing relay games, table games and concentration games.
I consider this, as a great opportunity to help those who need it, in a disinterested way and following my vocation. It is also an excellent opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
My schedule is only in the afternoon, because I always work in the morning.

MEXICAN TACOS Description: Tacos are a typical Mexican dish. They use tortillas as a base and you can add a variety of fillings, wich makes them always different. Ingredients: 350 gr. Of meat or chicken 6 slices of cheese Half chopped lettuce 6 wheat or corn tortillas 3 lemons 1 avocado Salt Pepper 2 tomatoes 1 onion Coriander Half a cup of oil Instructions: In half a cup of oil, fry the tortillas for one minute on each side, remove them and put then on a plate. Then, in a pan add two spoonfuls of oil and fry the meat or chicken with a pinch of salt and pepper. Remove from heat and serve in a bowl. For the guacamole, mash the avocado with a fork, add the juice of a lemon and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve it in a bowl.
